Corps abducted in Rivers State are yet to be
released. Rumuewhor community in Emohua
Local Government Area of Rivers State, has now
tasked the Rivers State Government and the
Police to intensify efforts to secure the release of
abducted corps members in the state.
Two NYSC members were two days ago abducted
from Odegu Comprehensive High School,
Rumuewhor by gunmen, who invaded the NYSC
quarters in the community school.
Their whereabouts is still unknown, as no
contact had been established with their
abductors.
In his reaction, His Royal Highness, Oha Ikech
Igbukwu, Yeweali Rumuewhor, said the
community was calling on state government and
the police to help free the corps members.
