Golden Eaglets striker Isaac Success has agreed to a record-breaking four- year deal worth €1.4 million with Serie A side Udinese.
The deal was said to have been brokered by a
France- based FIFA agent. A top source who was
part of the deal disclosed that the striker will be
sent to Spanish La Liga side Granada on loan to
gain experience and playing time.
"Udinese have signed Success on a four- year
deal. It's a great deal for both club and the
player," the source told MTNFootball.com.
The deal will see the Serie A club splash out a
transfer fee of €400,000 to the young striker's
youth club in Benin City, while he will earn an
annual wage of €250,000 for the next four years.
Success' deal is believed to be a massive transfer
coup as Udinese has thus beaten bigger clubs
like Manchester City, Lille and Benfica to the
talented striker.
Udinese are yet to confirm the capture of the top
scorer at the recently concluded African Youth
Championship in Morocco where he scored
seven goals.
