Fans Blast Actress, Chika Ike Over Divorce Announcement
Nollywood actress, Chika Ike may run the
risk of being blacklisted by fans as loads of
criticism keep rocking her boat since she
publicly announced that she's now officially
divorced.
Probably in a move to get sympathy from fans, the
actress took to social network Facebook in the wee
hours of Monday, July 29, 2013, to announce to her
teeming fans that the court has finally granted her
a divorce.
"Hi fans. Thank you all for your love and support
over the years. It's been an emotional journey and
I want to announce to you guys that the court has
granted me a divorce. I'm now officially divorced.
Thanks," she posted.
But her fans seem not to be okay with the news as
lashes of words soon started pouring in. While just
few congratulated her and urged her to move on
with her life, many didn't find the news funny,
criticizing her of going public with her divorce as if
it were a good development.
Prince Charming said "What an announcement!
Just more like a thanksgiving. Well, who knows,
maybe it's better this way for her."
Another fan by the name Flavia called Chika a
"stupid woman" for being happy that she's again a
single woman when many ladies are out in search
of men to call their own.
Choosing to go by the name Anonymous, another
said the actress is lucky her ex-husband, Tony has
been quiet about it unlike Funke Kindele's ex-
husband who gave the actress a public disgrace.
He advised her to move on with her life instead of
washing her dirty underwear in public.
"Chika we have heard you o! You are going around
announcing your divorce as if it is a good thing.
You are lucky that Tony is a good man and he is
highly literate! So he hid your secret ! You know
what you did now!
Thank God you do not have an Agbero husband like
Funke Akindele's husband that disgraced her in
public. Take a chill pill and stop bringing his name
into the news. The guy has moved on,so move on
with your life. Very soon you'll say you need your
privacy. Learn to keep some things within the
family."

NSCDC Officials Caught Stealing Medical Syringes
Two Inspectors with Nigeria Security
and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
were on Monday arrested by men of
the FCT Police command for
allegedly breaking into Abuja Central Medical
Stores, Jabi, and carting away 25 cartons of
medical syringes.
According to police report, a staff of the store
called the police when she arrived the scene of the
crime unnoticed, and found out a robbery was
going on.
Policemen from Utako division on surveillance
patrol got a distress call and when they arrived the
scene, they saw a Toyota Carina car loaded with
25 cartons of syringes.
"Our men accosted a 28-year old Civil Defence
Inspector as well as his accomplice, a 42-year-old
Inspector. We demanded to know who they were,
and they told us that they were Civil Defence staff.
We then demanded to know what the cartons were
doing in the car and they said they wanted to
make money by selling them.
The police source added that immediately they
made those confessional statements, they were
promptly arrested and taken to the station.
The driver of the Carina said he was deceived by
the Civil Defence men as they told him that they
were suppliers and they negotiated and agreed
that he would be paid N3,000. "I didn't know they
were thieves, if I knew, I would not have carried
them or packed those things in my car," he
lamented.
According to the FCT police spokesperson, Deputy
Superintendent Hyelhira Altine Daniel, investigation
is still ongoing.
Reacting, Mr. Akinbinu David, the spokesperson of
FCT NSCDC, confirmed the arrest and warned that
no paramilitary organization condones any form of
criminality. "Any Civil Defender, who is caught in
any criminal act would be dismissed. The two
officials of Civil Defense who were arrested by the
FCT police would be tried for criminal activities and
dismissal is total," he stated.

gidimarket.com At 1.
Imagination has brought mankind through the Dark Ages to its present state of civilization. Imagination led Columbus to discover America. Imagination led Franklin to discover electricity. Imagination has given us the steam engine, the telephone, the talking-machine and the automobile, for these things had to be dreamed of before they became realities. Following in the footsteps of great and inventive minds Abdulwasiu Yusuf set up gidimarket.com exactly a year ago out of realization that there is a need for people to have a platform to advertise their business to a wide clientele.
Gidimarket was created for everyone to be able to move their wares online. It is free, all you need to do is sign up and display your wares, craft, skill, goods and whatever you are selling, and you can shop for just about anything you can think of on gidimarket.com. If you are thinking of buying, someone is selling, on http://www.gidimarket.com everything sells new, used and old stuffs. During a remarkable debut on the e-commerce platform, gidimarket.com has notched up over 10,000 registered members all over Nigeria, over 170,000 classified adverts on the different categories. The online market portal also has 230,000 replies on advert posted and averages more than 10,000 visits daily with well over 150 company banner adverts. In a world that has turned into a global village, the man who says it can't be done is interrupted by someone doing it. Happy one year anniversary gidimarket.com, like the facebook page http://www.facebook.com/gidimarket.com and follow on http://www.twitter.com/its_gidimarket as well as instagram @gidimarket
