SEVENTEEN-YEAR-OLD AFRO BEAT ARTISTE,''Chinenye Daniel Nwobu'',POPULARLY KNOWN AS ''DANLIL'' IS AN ACT  TO FOCUS ON IN THE NEAREST FEATURE WITH HIS NEW RELEASED VIDEO TITTLED ''BULUMJEBE.




Born on April 15,1996,Danlil never hesitates to promote his roots and
where he is coming from,Enugu,Igbo Boy,in his music.



In 2012 he released a video titled ''SOLDIER BOY'' which featured his colleague ''KEZI'' but that wasn't enough to start up a career.
Early this year,in the month of march he dropped an album mixtape of his forth coming album titled ''AM GOOD'' with 13 songs in it. Still not enough he went further releasing his debut hit single titled ''BULUMJEBE with the video which dropped not quit long ago,seems the journey so far has been from glory to glory,sign to morecash entertainment based in London/United kingdom. The 3rd year student of physic Education from University of benin,''UNIBEN'' is an artiste to look out for soonest. The name still remains ''DANLIL''.

In this exclusive interview with Trends, Danlil talks about his music and him self.






Excerpts:
COULD YOU TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF?
My name is Danlil chinenye nwobu. I come from akwa ,In Anambra state. I was born in benin city,Edo state. I'm a student of the University of benin,''UNIBEN'' studying physic education for now, I'm from a family of Five.

HOW DID YOU START OUT AS A SINGER?
I discovered Music was in me while growing up,in my primary school days. In 2005 I started written my own music,and sing in the church. I was also playing the drum sets,and that was in Onitsha in Anambra state.

WHAT WAS GROWING UP LIKE?
Growing up was not that rosy neither was it that bad. I lived in benin city where I was born,for some years and in my primary two,I relocated to Onitsha with my mum. It was really tough Growing up in different places.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR LOVE LIFE?
I have nothing to say about that.




HOW DO YOU GET INSPIRATION FOR YOUR MUSIC?
I discovered a long time ago that I can sing and even rap,but I never took it that serious,back then in my secondary school days I sing in class just to make my classmates laugh,and they always find it interesting,But not its a serious business,so I draw a lot of inspiration from my environment,I just feel comfortable being a singer.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE YOUR FEMALE FANS?
(Laughter)Not bad at all o.Behind every successful man there is a woman,for me it's not just about a woman but women so I take advantage of it positively. I don't miss handle my female fans,I just treat them like my sisters.

WHAT'S BEEN YOUR HAPPIEST MOMENT?
God has really done so many things for me. I can't tell which moment is actually the happiest but I think it was the day I was driving in a hold up with a friend of mine,suddenly a girl in a vehicle also in the holp up,screamed my Name Out ''DANLIL'' I was like whose that one,I wined down and it was a girl inside a jeep,she was actually waving at me,Suddenly dey started playing my song ''BULUMJEBE'' in the car,I never knew them,but I was so happy.

WHAT ARTISTE'S HAVE YOU WORKED WITH OR PLANING TO WORK WITH?
Have worked with Antiviruz ''The baby mi crooner'',also with selebobo ''YoYo crooner'' and am planing to also work with flavour,phyno on bulumjebe remix,I also see my self working with davido and as well wizkid.

WHAT'S YOUR ADVICE FOR UP-AND-COMING ARTISTES?
Am also Upcoming,my advice is that they should put God First and do less of unnecessary hard work,you will shine in due time.

IF NOT MUSIC WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?
For now,I don't see my self leaving music because I know where am going to,I would rather be running a music label.






WHAT IS THE MEANING OF BULUMJEBE?
Its a slang in Igbo land,it simply means come and carry me or carry me go.

DO YOU BELONG TO ANY SECRET SOCIETY?
No I don't ,and I don't see my self being in any.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR CHALLENGES?
Wow,I would say the major challenge of upcoming act has been the issue o finance,except your record label is really wealthy,right now the major problem am facing is my fan base,and sponsorships,I want something bigger than what I have now,and I work hard for it each day.



WHAT ARE YOUR DREAMS?
I want to be a global brand,not just an artiste but a business man,a legend and that's why I'm looking up to God because I don't depend on anybody excerpt him, its not by my power but by the grace of God,I feel honored and great hearing my song been played on the streets,even in other african countries,I know with time things are going to be fully better,Thank You.
