Akolade
Arowolo who denied killing his banker wife, Titilayo three years ago
after stabbing her severally on his birthday has been found guilty by a
Lagos court. He was found guilty on a one-count charge of murder few
hours ago in an Ikeja High court. Arowolo till now and his lawyer denied
he ever stabbed his wife to death, but accepted she fell on a knife
after they had an argument in their 2-bedroom apartment. Doctors before
now also proved in court that, titilayo was stabbed 76 times.
After the discussion with the ‘teammates’ (which they are now called instead of inmates having gone through rehabilitation programs at the prison), Mr. Kolade was called by prison officers to deliver the vote of thanks.
In his speech, Mr. Kolade indicated that all teammates have become reformed and would leave prison as reformed individuals.The unemployed graduate had denied allegations that he stabbed his banker wife to death. At conclusion of visit by the NGO’s in the prison, Mr. Kolade moved close to one of the leaders of the visiting organizations, Dr. (Mrs.) Joe Odunakin and related that he had attempted suicide about three times at beginning of his trial but was prevented. He said he could not believe the incidence and the consequence happening at him.
