Man Set To Marry Goat 'He Is In Love With' At Devils Church In October
A widower in Brazil, Aparecido Castaldo, 74, has
decided to end his solitutude and marry his pet
goat, Carmelita.
"She doesn't speak and doesn't want money,"
says the father of eight children - four women
and four men from four different marriages.
Mr Castaldo, who has been in love with the pet
for two years, wanted to be united with his goat
Carmela in a church, by an evangelical minister.
Unfortunately, none of the churches he contacted
with his unusual request wanted to perform the
ceremony.
So Aparecido eventually contacted Toninho do
Diabo (Tom the Devil), an old friend who just
happens to be one of the most famous satanists
in Brazil.
The wedding is now scheduled to take place at
midnight, on October 13, at the Devil's Church,
in Sao Paolo. "Only our church accepted this
love between man and animal because we have
no prejudice," Toninho said.
The wedding will be followed by a big party on
All Souls' Day the following day.
Carmelita ate her first wedding dress but has
been found another.
Her husband to be , Mr Aparicedo said:
"Whenever someone says I am doing something
wrong I reply the goat does not speak, ask for
money to go shopping and doesn't get pregnant
- and she can't talk."
Beware Of People Claiming They Died And Are Back With Visions From Heaven – Pastor Kumuyi
The General Superintendent of the Deeper Life
Bible Church, Pastor Williams Kumuyi, has
debunked claims by people who said they died,
ascended to heaven and came back with
messages.
According to him, these are the last days where
many people would come up with different
things to deceive the church of God.
Recently, videos of people claiming to have died
and gone to heaven and hell have flooded the
market and internet.
And in one of the CDs, a Sierra Leonean
lady, Linda Ngaujah, claimed she died and was
shown happenings in heaven and hell.
She had warned that many members of Pastor
Enoch Adeboye' Redeemed Christian Church of
God, RCCG would go to hell. She also alleged
that the founder of the Lord's Chosen
Charismatic Movement, Pastor Lazarus Mouka
was using diabolical means to perform miracles.
She warned him to repent while declaring that
Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith
Mission and his members were not even
recognised in heaven.
Linda said that the old Deeper Life form of
dressing was the divinely acceptable one, saying
that women who use rubber and wool to plait
their hair were headed for hell.
There are claims too that Pastor Kumuyi's late
wife, Biodun Kumuyi was seen in heaven.
In yet another message, a lady evangelist of the
Church of God Mission, Benin City, Margaret
Amure warned women not to wear jewellery,
lipstick, or any make-up or trousers which she
said were immodest.
But Kumuyi in a sermon preached and
transmitted among Deeper Life members,
warned his followers in many branches, not to
believe in those messages as coming from God.

8-year-old Bride Dies After Sex With 40years old Hubby On Wedding Night
An eight year old bride in Yemen died from
internal injuries on her wedding night, bleeding
to death after deep vaginal tearing caused by
sex with her 40 year old husband.
The girl, identified only by the name Rawan, died
in Hardh in the governorate of Hajjah in
northwestern Yemen, according to a report
issued by UPI on Sunday, Sept. 8.
Activists in the region want to put an end to the
practice of marrying young girls, and
have called for police to arrest the girl's
husband and family.
Nevertheless, the forced marriage of child brides
in Yemen remains a socially accepted custom in
many rural areas.Indeed, the practice has deep
cultural and religious roots, and is widespread in
Yemen.
A February 2009 law set the minimum age for
marriage at 17, but it was repealed after some
conservative lawmakers called it un-Islamic.
In particular, a prominent Islamic cleric,
Abdulmajeed al-Zindani, issued a fatwa in
support of the practice, declaring supporters of a
ban on child brides to be apostates, and
ultimately leading a successful campaign against
legislation that would prevent adult men from
marrying children.
The issue of Yemen's child bride problem made
headlines three years ago when an 8-year-old
girl went to court, demanding a judge dissolve
her marriage to a man in his 30s. The girl
eventually won a divorce, and legislators began
looking at ways to curb the practice. However,
they have so far been unsuccessful.
Currently the law states that parents should
decide when a daughter marries.
Unfortunately, reports indicate more than a
quarter of Yemen's females marry before age 15.

The incident happened on September 4, 2013,
Wednesday.

(PRO) of the Sokoto State Police Command,

Native Doctor Opens University, Dupes Students
A native doctor identified as
Fidelis Chukwujindu has been
apprehended by the police for
luring over 5,000 students, extorting money from
them and conducting fake entrance examination
for the unsuspecting victims.
Chukwujindu, was nabbed at the premises of his
non-existent College Hospital which has the sign
post "University College Hospital Ogboko, Ideato,
P.O.Box 1960, Orlu, Imo State. Also written on
the signpost, which was conspicuously mounted
by the roadside, is, "Present Courses: B.Sc,
Nursing, Health Sciences, Education Humanities,
Medical LAB Sciences. Admissions Are Still Going
On. Govt. Approved. Call: 08064082750."
The operator of the illegal college attracted
students by printing flyers which he distributes to
churches across the country, as most of the
students claimed they came to know about the
school through their pastors.
Chukwujindu claimed to have the permission of
the State Government and Federal Ministry of
education to run his non-existent college
hospital. He also claimed to be a product of the
prestigious Harvard University, America. "I won a
Federal Government scholarship to study abroad,
but was incapacitated by an accident which
disfigured one of my legs and I was flown back to
Nigeria where I later decided to set up the
college," he said.
Assisting the suspect, who claimed to be the vice
-chancellor of the university college hospital, was
a middle aged woman later identified as Ngozi
Ayoha. The woman, who initially said she was
deaf and dumb, caused a stir when it was found
that she was the Dean of Faculty of Medicine of
the illegal college.
Parading the suspect with his victims before
newsmen, the Commissioner of Police, Mr.
Muhammad Katsina, explained that one striking
thing about the strategy of the gang was that
they carefully selected the site opposite the Imo
State University, Ogboko, and adjacent to the
Rochas Foundation College, Ogboko, to convince
their victims of the genuineness of their business.
2 Cameroonian Women Trafficking 5 day-old- baby Arrested in Calabar
The Nigeria Immigration Service
(NIS) on September 7, 2013,
Saturday, announced the arrest of
two Cameroonian women, suspected in child
trafficking of a five-day-old baby.
Mr. Samuel Igoche, the state NIS Comptroller,
informed that the suspects include a legal
practitioner, Mrs. Ngala Nungu, 47, and Mrs.
Mende Cecilia, 54.
The NIS official said that Mrs. Nungu claimed to
have delivered the baby at a herbal clinic at
Okitipupa in Ondo state. The suspect claimed she
spent N1.5 million to buy herbal medicine from
the lady who owns the herbal clinic.
Mr. Igoche stated that investigation conducted by
immigration officials showed that Mrs. Nungu
never gave birth to the baby, adding that the
child in her custody was from a source she
refused to identify.
The suspect replied with her story, told the
newsmen she got information about the herbal
clinic in Cameroon. Then she borrowed the money
and used them to purchase the drugs which
made her pregnant.
"I came to Nigeria, met the woman who owns the
herbal clinic and bought the drugs. One month
after taking the drugs, I met with my husband
and became pregnant," she said.
Mrs. Nungu said that she had not giving birth
before and fed the baby with baby's food because
her breast had no milk. She begged the officials
of NIS to release her and her baby to return
home.
Another suspect, Mrs. Mende supported Nungu's
story by adding that she witnessed the delivery of
the baby: "I heard her screaming while in the
delivery room and later heard the cry of a baby; I
rushed in and saw the new born baby who was
still covered with blood".
The baby is currently under the care of the NIS in
Calabar.
Students Don’t Want Us To End Strike – ASUU President
The Academic Staff Union of Universities has
said it is continuing its nationwide strike on the
advice of university students.
In a telephone interview with
SUNDAY PUNCH, the President of
the union, Dr. Isa Fagge, said
students were tired of the incessant industrial
actions by the university lecturers due to the
Federal Government's failure to implement the
agreement it had with ASUU since 2009.
Fagge said the union had decided to heed the
advice of the students to continue the strike until
the Federal Government fully implemented the
agreement.
"Our students have come out to say they don't
want us to call off the strike until the Federal
Government answers us, because they don't want
us to call off now and later we go back to strike
again. So, we are heeding the advice of our
students," he said.
On the complaint by the Federal Government that
it lacked the funds to implement the agreement,
Fagge said it was not all about money, noting
that government did not need funds to start
implementing some parts of the agreement.
"There are issues and agreement they can
implement without money. Why don't they begin
with those ones?" he asked.
He added that it was unfortunate that the
government had pulled out of dialogue with
ASUU, stating that the union would not be
intimidated.
He said, "Now, government has pulled out of the
dialogue. We thought we were the ones going on
strike, but now government has also gone on
strike."
Last Thursday, university students under the
auspices of the National Association of Nigerian
Students reportedly staged a peaceful protest in
Ado-Ekiti and flayed the Federal Government for
failing to honour the agreement it had with ASUU
since 2009.
The students, who were from public universities,
threatened to disrupt activities of private
universities, adding that the government was not
bothered about their plight because children of
government officials were studying either in
private universities or studying overseas.
The university lecturers began an indefinite strike
on July 1 and have been demanding full
implementation of the agreement ASUU had with
the Federal Government in 2009, which among
other things include the UNESCO-recommended
26 per cent budgetary allocation for education.
However, the government said it could not
implement the agreement, and is seeking re-
negotiation.
The Federal Government, last Wednesday,
accused ASUU of being unrealistic by continuing
its nationwide strike and asked it to rethink its
demands, considering other commitments
government has.
The Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, who
gave government's position on the strike when he
briefed journalists at the end of the weekly
meeting of the Federal Executive Council, said
apart from security, education was one of the
sectors the government had expended a lot of
money on.

School Principal Found Dead In A Gutter In Ibadan
The principal of Ijokodo Junior Secondary School
1, Ibadan, Oyo State Mr Segun Dare, was on
Wednesday, found dead along the street to his
home at Citaga area, Sango-Eleyele road, several
hours after he didn't turn up at home as
expected.
Accordng to reports, Mr Dare, who left home
the previous day, was discovered face down in a
gutter, with his mobile handset in his pocket and
a polythene bag containing soup ingredients like
fish and pepper beside him.
It was gathered that the deceased left his home
in the afternoon of Tuesday, September 3, to go
to a first generation bank along Sango-Eleyele
road but could not do what he intended doing
there as he got there late.
He was said to have attempted to use the
influence of one of his friends in the bank but
was unsuccessful as the friend told him he could
not help.
Mr Dare reportedly called his wife and told her
that he did not achieve his objective, informing
her that he was returning home immediately.
A reliable source who spoke under the condition
of anonymity said the man did not turn up at
home as he promised, and when it was about 40
minutes after, his wife called his number to know
his whereabouts.
To her surprise, a strange voice answered the
call, telling her to get off the line as her husband
was busy and would call her later.
Not too long after, the voice called to inform her
that she could call her husband if she wished but
her attempts at speaking with the deceased
failed as her calls went unanswered.
The wife was said to have raised a search party
which went round without locating the principal
until late into Tuesday night.
The search party continued the following
morning when his body was discovered.
Since the discovery of the principal's body, there
had been speculations that he was probably
killed by some hoodlums who had been going to
the school compound to smoke Indian hemp.
The source said that some of the hoodlums were
sighted in the school smoking Indian hemp about
nine weeks ago, when the Senior Secondary
School students were sitting for their qualifying
examination into SSS3 class.
They were reportedly chased away while they
mounted waiting motorcycles parked around
WAEC junction to escape.
Then, that some hoodlums came back to the
school a week after and disrupted the
examination on the final day.
The school was also said to have written a letter
to the Ministry of Education to intimate the
authorities of the disruption of the examination.
The late principal was supposed to retire from
service in February, 2014.

the two groups were severely wounded before
others took to their heels.
According to the community leader, "That boy
(Lawal) and his gang are thorn in the flesh of
everyone of us in this area. The most annoying
aspect of it is that we heard that the parents of
most of these bad boys live close to us here, but

A police source at Alade Police Station claimed
that some relatives of Lawal came to the station
to demand for documents to enable them collect
