5 Years In Jail For Whoever Cheats in WAEC- Law Approved


The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved
a 5-year jail term or N200,000 or both for
anyone caught cheating in the West Africa
Examination Council (WAEC). This
announcement was made yesterday in Abuja by
the Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufai
while briefing the States House Correspondents.
The Federal Executive Council already had
directed the Ministry of Justice to take further
necessary action on the subject.

  1. Let it start from invigilators...and some hungry tutorial classes that have no other works than to encourage this students to pay for runs

  2. How I wish this law can be uphold it would have been very good to have a better future leaders but don't be supprise that those that make the law will be the first to violate it... No laws made in Nigeria that favours the poor. The affluence one will always find their way out of this mess but the poor will be @ receiving end... May God come to our aids in this country
