(names withheld), have been abducted by
unknown gunmen.
The victims were said to be travelling from
Lagos to Edo State, ahead of the judge's
daughter's wedding ceremony, but were
kidnapped on their way. Their driver was also
abducted.
They were kidnapped along Benin-Shagamu
expressway, while approaching Edo, reports
said.
When contacted on telephone, Edo State Police
Command Public Relations Officer, Moses
Eguavoen, said he was unaware of the
development. "I am not aware of that, but let
me call the control room and get back to you."
Sunday Vanguard learnt that the suspected
kidnappers were yet to make any contact with
the family press time.
