Its a sad day for Tinsel fans as the hunky
Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh resigned from the
Mnet Africa series.
The role of the character, Kwame Mensah will be
written out over the next few months and Chris
will shoot his last scenes in September.
According to his South African management,
WAKA Agency, headed by Rosie Motene, the
reason for Chris' resignation is to pursue other
career of interests.
According to Chris, "the last seven years on
Tinsel have been an incredible journey and
experience for me. Working with Mnet was
phenomenal and it took a lot of deliberation but I
have decided to pursue other career of
interests".
Tinsel has witnessed the exodus of Damilola
Adegbite (Telema), Matilda Obaseki (Angela) and
now Chris Attoh (Kwame), who has spent seven
years with the MNET Africa's production.
With the way actors leave Tinsel, no one knows
who'll be next to quit the series.
