wagging tongues to rest on Tuesday proposing
to his longtime partner and mother of his two
kids, Lola Omotayo with a diamond ring and a
brand new Range Rover car.
Okoye, who did not give Lola a hint of his plan,
visited her at her residence with the car parked
in the compound, a ring on the bonnet of the
car, a rose flower and a card with the
inscription 'Please say Yes'.
This romantic drama was followed by a long
passionate kiss showing acceptance from the
overwhelmed beauty.
Minutes later, Peter posted on his instagram
page and Twitter page saying, "It's about
time," and shortly after, he also posted that
"she said yes." He later updated his Blackberry
status with "Officially, she's now Mrs. Okoye…"
Speaking on why he decided to propose to Lola,
the musician said: "It is something I had always
wanted to do and I knew I would definitely do
this to Lola one day, but I needed to wait for
the right time. Honestly, she deserves even
more from me." he said.
The happy fiancee said: "It is a day the Lord
has made. I'm excited the way any woman in
my shoes would."
