New boys Crystal Palace are lining up a second bid for wantaway West Bromwich Albion forward Osaze Peter Odemwingie.
Palace had offered to buy the West Brom striker early this year before he got entangled in the whole West Brom- QPR January transfer saga, but the Olympic silver medalist turned down a move to a lower Championship side.
Having earned promotion to the Premier League
and with the departure of their top winger
Wilfried Zaha to Manchester United, manager
Ian Holloway is in search of a new forward who
could help strengthen the team upfront.
And Odemwingie, who has had a miserable
season at the Hawthorn is not far from such
role, considering his desire to quit West Brom.
It is also believed that Hull City are monitoring
the situation of the £4 million- rated
Odemwingie.
