Writers Celebrate Achebe today

Nigerian writers and literary enthusiasts are set to bid legendary scholar and writer, Prof. Chinua Achebe 'farewell' in their own way.

Prof Achebe will be buried on May 23, and the
writers, under the aegis of the Association of
Nigerian Authors, will hold a symposium in his honour this morning and an evening of tributes too.

The event is scheduled to take place in Abuja
and features a lot of prominent figures at the
event.
